Ten podiums for Knox protected riders in British Superbikes

TAS Relentless Suzuki rider Alastair Seeley using Planet Knox back and chest protectors at this year's NW200 road race.Knox back protectors were born on the track in 1981 and their British-made back protectors have been a popular choice for racers ever since. However the results from the Snetterton round of British Superbikes are a remarkable endorsement of the faith that racers put in Knox, with no less than ten Knox protected riders mounting the podium on race day.
Josh Brooks finished 3rd in the first and second superbike races on the HM Plant Honda, while James Ellison was second in Race 2 on the Airwaves Yamaha. Meanwhile in the Supersport 600 Race every step was occupied by Knox riders; HM Plant Honda's Steve Plater in first, Dan Cooper of Centurion Racing Honda in second and James Westmorland on the JW Racing Triumph in third. In the Superstock Race Alastair Seeley crossed the line in 1st on the Relentless Suzuki, (he has won every race to date), followed by Richard Cooper in third on the Coordit Yamaha.
Rounding off the day, Luke Jones brought the MAP Raceways Yamaha home in first place in the National Superstock 600 and finally Tim Hastings finished first on his Honda 125 in the ACU Academy Cup.

On the roads, meanwhile, TAS Relentless Suzuki rider Alastair Seeley survived a high speed 130mph crash at Northern Ireland’s prestigious NW200 road races and went on to win a rain-lashed Superstock race.

“I'm glad I was wearing both chest and back protection” comments Alastair. Professional racers choose Knox because they know that Knox is dedicated to protection.
