Rob Mac Racing riders Chris Walker and Graeme Gowland had a very satisfying qualifying session for the 6th round of the British Superbike Championship but not so lucky was Jon Kirkham who suffered hand injuries after taking a fall in the second session.Chris Walker set himself up for a front row start finishing in 2nd position after the first two F1 style times sessions, with the 3rd and final sessions marred with a crash and a stoppage Chris did not quite match his best lap but set himself up for a second row start position and prime spot for one of his famous electric starts. Chris Walker Motorpoint Henderson's Yamaha R1 7th Position 49.38 sec"All in all we had a good day in the office! We have made positive steps with the bike and I can now run good consistent lap times, I was really pushing for the front row but after the stoppage I did not have the same grip. Great for the boys and I'm up for the battle and a good start should see me mixing it" Graeme Gowland the Superbike ‘rookie' equalled his best qualifying position with a fantastic 8th position and starts alongside Chris on the second row.
