As the motocross season launches into action so does Dunlop, finding themselves in a strong starting position for 2010. The leading tyre manufacturer has secured 24 riders across seven teams who chose to shod their bikes with Dunlop’s latest Geomax MX range of rubber. The teams, including PAR Honda, N A Racing Honda & Motoxtreme Kawasaki, will be appearing in a range of motocross championships including selected World MX Championships, the British MX Championship, the Red Bull Pro National series, the British Masters, and the Dunlop supported MX323 & BYMX championships. Dunlop have got off to a shining start with Brad Anderson from PAR Homes Honda taking overall victory in the MX1 class in the British MX Championship using his Dunlop Geomax MX tyres. Dunlop spokesperson Stuart Dozey said: “We are pleased and proud to be supporting some of the UK’s top MX riders. We have managed to secure some top teams with riders including the current British MX1 Champion Brad Anderson & current Red Bull Champion Carl Nunn, as well as multi times schoolboy champion Mathew Fleming, who we have supported since he first raced.” “This year we venture into new territory with additional teams such as PAR Homes Honda. MVR-D Suzuki & Twisted 7 Husqvarna, joining our stable. PAR Homes Honda has already given us reason to celebrate with Brad Anderson’s win at Round One of the British MX Championships held at Little Silver in Exeter.” “We also saw Martin Barr finish third overall in the MX2 category at the same event. Brad has given us our first top spot finish in five years and welcomes us back onto the motocross grid for a strong 2010” concluded Stuart. Article Source: Dunlop Tyres
