 Once upon a time these official yearly review books from Ducati were just for the privileged few, like sponsors, team members and other such luminaries’. I am pleased to say that this year they are now available to all through Star Books in the UK.In simple terms it is a full colour hardback yearbook containing superb images from all the MotoGP and Superbike races with results, final classification and statistics at the rear, along with technical details of the race machinery. However, to leave that as a description would not do justice to the high gloss 144 pages, containing 250 images taken by some of the leading photographers in world of motorcycle racing. It is very much exactly what a coffee table book should be, full of jaw dropping images that really capture the essence of Ducati as they battle against the might of the Japanese factories. There are few words, each race being profiled with images that just tell the story at a glance and make you wish you could take a picture that turns out at least half as well as those in front of you. There is little else to say other than despite it being a Ducati publication, just about every race fan will enjoy looking at it and studying the bikes, the riders and the action. Given the quality of the work £30.00 is cheap for a record of a factories racing season taken from the inside.
