There is no doubt that the 2009 Isle of Man TT produced the fastest racing in the history of the TT, with records tumbling every which way. The filming of the event, which has since won numerous accolades and awards, was done for the first time by North One Television using the very latest technology to give viewers action from every conceivable angle and source. What you get as a result is 12 laps of the TT circuit and more than four hours of white-knuckle action. This should help you learn the course and enable you to get more enjoyment next time you stand on your favourite corner. Just from these three discs you will be able to understand why and where the bike is positioned as the action is taken from the very best with some very innovative angles adding to the fun. Disc one for instance features laps from Practice Week with multiple TT winner John McGuinness, TT winner Steve Plater and the ever-dramatic Guy Martin. In addition there is three-wheel footage from the three-times World Sidecar Championship team Tim Reeves and Patrick Farrance. On the second disc, the action comes from the Superbike TT, the first Supersport race, the Superstock contest and the opening Sidecar race in company with Dave Molyneaux as he clinches his record-breaking 14th TT win. There is also the first on-board lap of the TT course filmed from an electric-powered bike and includes the very first electric motorcycle spill at the TT! Lastly disc three features one practice lap and two racing laps from the Mountain circuit, plus an entire 2009 TT race from the Billown circuit! What can you say other than if you think you can ride a bike fast on the road then think again! You suddenly realise that things do move on at a pace you would have little time to react in and in some ways these three discs would form the basis of a road safety film as well as being just mega entertainment. TT fan or not, these just deserve a look especially at that the now bargain price of £17.99. Highly recommended!
