Motorcycle Trackdays for Virgins!
No, nothing to do with sex, but a title designed to attract the attention of those who have yet to enjoy a day on the race track. As author Simon Bradley points out, it is one place where you can really enjoy your bike to the full without having to worry about cameras and cars!
Packed full of information, it is aimed at taking away the fear of going to your first track day and the book has a wealth of information that will assist any rider engaging in this activity. Everything you need to know, but were afraid to ask for fear of looking stupid is covered. Sure some of it may seem basic, but it sill worth a read through no matter how many times you have ridden.
Bradley does a good job without preaching or going too deep into some subjects, my only slight complaint is that some of the photos could be a lot better.
The latter part of the book has a comprehensive review of all the UK’s main circuits and it is probably worth the £12.95 asking price just for this alone. Still, a good read before partaking at it could save you money, like any good insurance policy.
Published by the excellent Panther Publishing (www.panther-publishing.com) it is available direct from them, plus p & p or from all good book shops. ISBN 978-0-95556595-0-8
